Acrylic and gold leaf on paper, this work offers a sensitive and symbolic exploration of the female body. A main figure emerges, containing within it several female bodies floating, as if suspended in an inner, intimate, and organic space.
The blue, omnipresent, evokes both water, peaceful lagoons, and the original world of the embryo. It creates an atmosphere of softness and gestation, as if these bodies were evolving in a protective environment, in constant transformation.
The yellow, vibrant and luminous, brings a solar energy to the composition. It evokes warmth, light, and vitality, enveloping the forms like a source of life and radiance, in contrast with the soothing fluidity of the blues.
The black lines, both free and assertive, structure the forms, while touches of gold leaf reveal the precious and sacred nature of the female body. Between abstraction and figuration, the work suggests a multiplicity of identities, memories, and presences contained within a single woman.
